Muskegon, Michigan KOA Review

Last summer the kids and I spent 10 days in Muskegon, MI KOA. I must say it was a great campground! It’s a small campground that surrounds a lake. The nice part is you can get a campsite that is right on the lake (about 20 steps and you are to the beach and water). There are lots of trees, activities for the kids and nightly hay rides. The park facilities were very clean. They had a onsite laundry, small arcade and store. The kids can enjoy a huge inflatable bouncing bubble and also a large water slide that sits out on the lake. The beach was also very clean. The only drawback I found was if you must have WiFi, you have to go sit near the park office in order to get it. The WiFi there unfortunately doesn’t reach the campsites.

Muskegon also offers attractions like the Michigan Adventure theme park. There you can enjoy rides or check out their water park. It’s an all day of fun! There are also a number of antique malls in and around Muskegon to check out. Overall, we had a fabulous time and would go back again. I’m usually more of a state park camper, but must admit I really did enjoy this KOA.
