We are so tickled to have received our awning room from Marti’s Awnings. It’s practical for our needs and looks great too! It measures approximately 8 1/2 feet across and 8 feet deep. We will use this as an additional sleeping area as well as a place to eat, play cards, etc., I just love it!
Here is a picture of Buttercup nekked without the awning.
Here she is with the awning room on. She’s hiding behind it somewhere…oh there she is…you can see her Z stripe through the screened front window. This awning room has 2 big heavy-duty screened windows like this and both have roll up covers.
Another angle that shows the second window. On the opposite side is a zipper section that can be removed.
Now for some fun pics. These are taken with just the front panel taken off. On my ‘Must Haves’ list is a black/white checked outdoor rug!
It really IS like having an extra room. So bright and cheery.
Come sit and have some ice cream while the radio plays some old time tunes. Actually, I don’t think that radio works but we can pretend it does and have a working one playing elsewhere.
If you are looking for a add-a-room for your existing awning, give Marti a jingle and she can fix you right up!

Love the add a room!! I was waiting for pictures. I have a beautiful awning my Marti I will be calling her about the add a room. Thanks for sharing!!!

You know I’m not a camper at all….but your pictures just make me happy!! And who knows someday I just may become a convert.
I’m glad they make you happy Thauna and who knows, maybe someday we’ll be able to convert ya! I like to call it “Glamping” instead of camping. I was never a fan of tent camping, but can totally do it with a vintage trailer.
Kelle, I have a 61 compact that I just retored, in aqua & white. How much was your awning? It looks really cool… Does it have individual panels?
Thanks
Dave
Thank you Dave. The panels are removable which makes it nice if you want to have the front or sides open. I hate to post a price only because I know they can vary depending on what all you want (ie; number of screened windows, size of it, etc.,) but Marti would be happy to answer that question for you. Her email is: domy@sbcglobal.net
I’m so excited to see this. Marti is making the awning for our 1968 Serro Scotty. I was just on the phone with her working out the details for our screen room. It is great to see her work in action. So cute.
Joy, I’m sure you will love your new awning! I’ve purchases several from Marti and they are just wonderful!
is marti still making awnings and how would I contact her???
Yes she is. You can find her by doing a Google search.
