Featured Trailer – 1966 Frolic

You are all in for a treat! While at the Gilmore Car museum car show this past weekend I took some photos of my friend Beth’s 66 Frolic. She won 2nd place in the People’s choice award. There is no doubt why because as you will see it’s just so darn cute!

Get the drool rags ready! (I’m not joking! You will love this!).

I love her little picket fence and table and chairs set.

I think I’m in aqua heaven! Aren’t those sheer curtains just scrumptious?!

What a sweet kitchen. I love the back splash don’t you?

Um, yes I could definitely take a nap on this bed! Check out the suitcases up on the shelf…she uses those for storage. Beth is one of the most creative ladies I know and I love her decorating skills and sense of style.

I hope you all enjoyed the tour of Beth’s Frolic! I never tire of seeing this trailer and I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to camp with Beth now and then.

  9. Hi Beth..I just love your camper. I just bought a 13′ Frolic and am in the process of “glaming” it up. I was pleased to remove white paint off the stove top today and find the cute stove just like yours. Why anyone would paint it is beyond me. Did yours have a fold down bunk over the table? Mine does but I am in need of more space so am thinking about removing it. My is red and white outside but I will be using your favorite color turquoise on the inside as well. I am using a vintage chenille bedspread for the curtains. Hoping to join one of the camping groups when I get her all fixed up. Does yours have a name? I have not come up with a good one yet. Thanks again Janet…Somewhere in the Lone Star State….

Janet, my bunk is over the back gaucho couch/bed. I removed the couch cushions and put in a twin mattress so I could have a permanent bed. I also took the side piece of metal off the fridge and slide in a piece of Formica with a turquoise pattern to cover the original wood grain panel. Have fun glamping your trailer up. My trailer is ” Sweet Daisy”

We recently purchased a Banner camper, although ours is a Laredo. We are curious if you know anything about the company that produced the Banner. It seems to be a rare name. Yours is the only other one we have come across. Please email me if you have any info. Thanks and Happy Camping!
