Here is a 15′ 1962 Scotty Sportsman. It’s 12′ body and 15′ including the tongue. Totally original!  It has had a complete designer renovation, interior and exterior. It is getting harder to find these campers in such great condition.This Scotty has a bright clean  interior with a vintage cool exterior and fits into most garages. It is easy to tow, weighing only 1300 lbs.  Sleeps 4 comfortably. The dinette turns into a single bed and the rear gaucho bed turns into a double. It features a spacious closet with room for your own porta potti. It has a city water hook-up (standard water hose)..We have a N.Y.S. transferable registration. We are located in the Northeast (Montgomery N.Y. approximately 1 1/2 hours north of NYC, 2 hours south of Albany), it is currently in our garage for the winter.

What is New:

Exterior high gloss oil-based enamel paint, over primer roof and seams sealed vintage striping details custom Scotty sign new lights new tires with packed wheel bearings.

Interior freshly painted interior new quilted dinette seat covers new quilt for the rear bed new custom curtains new flooring in the drop down section of the floor vintage accessories (towels pot-holders, pillows, and tin signs) included antique quilted Scotty Pillow (made by “myauntnannie” on ebay) included.

What is original all interior lights most of the flooring and aluminum trim original copper gas light in pristine condition all hardware and trim polished to mirror fininish, formica table, etched round, mirror, stainless steel sink, working propane stove, refrigerator, new painted with chrome trim entry door interior side, original aluminum polished to a gleaming mirror finish.

What is untested refrigerator will work as an “ice box”, but untested for propane pump water system with original stainless steel water tank. Untested, but looks like it should work..
This camper also features lots of “love bumps” since it has been around for 50 years.. We have lovingly done a renovation. Trailer is sold as is.

  3. Thanks Jane, I just measured and you are right! It is a 12′ box and 3′ tongue, so 15′ Sportsman.
    The height is 83″.

      It has a spacious closet that has room for your own porta potty. We still have it, but have an appointment for folks to see it.Thanks, Frauke

  11. Beautiful trailer. Does it have heat? Does it have brakes?

    • Thanks Lauran, The camper still has the original heater, but we covered it due to it’s age. No heat. It has new tires, packed bearings and brakes. It tows great!
