I was sent this photo today and wanted to share it with you all. She’s looking great! As you can see we decided to keep her the original yellow. She has a new yellow counter and table top as well so we wanted to stick with the original color scheme. Today she’ll have her wheels painted white and then once she gets back to the restroration shop they will put back in her windows, all the trim, put on the Z stripe, baby moon hub caps and of course her wings.Once that is done there are a few things to do on her interior yet and then she’ll be good to go. She’s gettting new cushions made as we speak and once I get her home I’ll put in new curtain rods and curtains. I almost forgot to mention that she’ll have a new fridge as well.
Vintage 61 Shasta Compact for sale. Yep, she will be for sale…that is, if I can stand to part with her.
I came across an old trailer, that was abandoned and destined for the junk. I was busy and didn’t have time for it. The more I thought about it the more I kicked myself. Then the wife started kickinjg me too. Couple months later….I happen past and it is still there, and the owner is on his last day cleaning up, and gives it to me. 1962 Shasta Compact. Floor is a bit rotted at the door, but all original….and all there.
Looks like we might be doing a bit of travelling once we replace all the dry rot, and slip on some new tires!
Have you posted this for sale yet? Would love to buy something like this for my daughter and i to have adventures in!
