FRONT BACK
This is a very easy project and the results are fabulous! Recover old pillows or cover new pillow forms in the fabric of your choice.
What you’ll need:
•A yard of fabric
•A sewing machine
•Scissors
•Pins
Step 1:
First determine the size of your pillow or pillow form. For this tutorial I’m recovering a 15 inch square pillow.
Cut 1 piece of fabric that is 16 inches, allowing for 1/4 inch seam allowance that you’ll sew all the way around. Cut 2 pieces of fabric that are 16 tall x 10 inches wide each.
Step 2:
Once you are done sewing the 1/4 inch seam allowance around all 3 pieces it’s time to put our pillow cover together. To do this lay the two smaller pieces on top of the large one where one of them overlaps the other like shown. Pin it in place all the way around the perimeter.
Step 3: Sew around the entire perimeter of the pillow cover. Remember to remove pins as you go. Finally, turn it right side out and put it on your pillow and VIOLA! You are done!
