Who would of thought a girl could get so excited about a vent fan? Well, that girl would be me. It’s the next best thing to having a A/C unit. Or so I’m told anyway. We haven’t had a chance to test it out in sweltering weather yet. When we do I’ll let you all know how it works.
It’s neat because it can either be set to suck air out of the trailer or blow air in. I had www.leftyoriginals.com do the install on this. They also put in a 12V inverter which in my opinion is much better than going with a battery. They installed it into the upper cupboard in the kitchen. It takes away a small bit of food storage space but that’s a minor trade off. Oh and I can plug in my cell phone to it and charge it in the cigarette lighter type outlet on it. Cool huh? I’m sure your are thinking “Sure it’s cool..but useless..just bring your regular phone charger and plug into an outlet”. OK, I know that but I still think it’s nifty.

I know the feeling! I just got a BullDog hitch which I have been wanting forever and ever! With this I know my trailer will never come off..
It's fabulous! Can't wait to hear the report on how it works.

I love your post about Fan Vents. We just installed one in our 1962 Kencraft and like you, I was jumping up and down for joy over it. Had to write a post all about it as well (complete with pictures) so I completely understand your excitement.

We love the fan! It worked great! Now I'm chomping at the bit to get one installed in the Compact. But will probably wait till next year. They aren't the same as A/C of course, but they do take the edge off especially in the evenings by sucking the hot air out of the trailer.
