I have found out quickly that my tow vehicle doesn’t have a lot of cargo room. We end up stuffing the hatch back area full to capacity and this is after packing the trailer full of things like dishes, smaller misc items, etc., So where is all this other stuff coming from? Well, it’s mainly the cooler, toys, yard decorations, pillows, clothing, etc., I decided I had to find a solution because space is just so limited. So I opted for a car top carrier.
I searched Craigslist for a used one but no luck there. So then I hit Amazon.com and found a couple there that I liked. One is the Rain-X soft carrier. It got nice reviews. However, it would of taken up to 6 weeks to deliver. I would like one sooner than that. So we looked at the Highland rainproof carrier.
