Half size dining tables for a vintage trailer for sale

Our 1955 Bellwood is a small trailer at 11 ft. So space is a premium in there. When a couple people in your family are fairly tall and need more leg room the small size of the trailer becomes even more evident. So one thing I wanted to do was use a half table at the dinette.

Would you like to have a half size table for your vintage trailer too? If so contact my friend Joel Manley who made mine and he’d be happy to make one for you at a reasonable cost. Email him at joel.manley@yahoo.com Joel does awesome work!

These tables are also great for installing outside of your trailer. I’ve seen vintage trailers have the table bracket attached to the exterior and voila, instant place to hook on a table!

Here is my original table.  The original measures 24 wide x 36 long.

A friend of mine made this half table for me from scratch. The dimensions are 21 deep x 28 wide. It’s wider than the original because I wanted it that way since I was losing depth space. This way it’s still enough room for two people to use to enjoy a meal or play cards.

I love having the extra leg room and floor space. Plus if you have a bracket on the outside of your trailer you could move this little table outside if you wanted. If you look close you can see I need to replace my wall bracket with one that is a little wider. I have it but didn’t have a chance to install it before I took the photos.

P.S. Shhh, don’t tell anyone but the “ice cream” in the dishes is actually made from my son’s playdough. You use what you have in a photo pinch 🙂

My trailer needs total restoration in side had bad water damage form the vent leaking. She is a cool can ham size. I’m interested in that cool smaller table will check with him on that. If you would like too see my trailer I could email some pic just need your email too send them too I have a lot of pics on my photobucket account .

  2. Kelle: Great idea. One question; where do you store the large table when it’s not in use?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    • Dave, I actually just leave it at home. If I’m camping solo or with just one other person I really don’t need the larger table. So it’s nice to have the small one instead.
