1969 Roadrunner For Sale

This adorable 14 ft Roadrunner (17.5 ft including hitch) has the envy of all glampers…turquoise appliances! Beautiful wood interior has not been painted and except for some areas with old water stains, the wood is in great condition.  Where the couch is, the back wood panel was replaced and new insulation and paneling installed.  Dinette turns into a bed for one adult or 2 small children, couch turns into a bed that will sleep 2 adults comfortably and there is a bunk over the couch that sleeps 1 small child. This model has the icebox style refrigerator that you put a block of ice in.  4 burner propane stove, oven and light fixture all in working order as well as the heater.  All but one electric light fixture are in working order.  Resealed in 2021 and refloored with oak laminate in 2021.  This comes with a heavy duty cover.  Clear title, registered in California through July, 2021.  This trailer is in fantastic condition with no musty smells and I hate to let her go but I’m downsizing to a much smaller Scotsman trailer.

RoadRunner travel trailers were built by L & M Trailer Manufacturing Company in Ephraim, Utah in the 1960’s. The designation RoadRunner was not a model name, all of their trailers were called RoadRunners. It was a very small company; I read it started with just a single rancher building campers in Utah. The company was purchased by DiGiorgio Leisure Products of Kalispell, MT in the early 70’s.
Roadrunners were popular trailers in the Southwest in the 60’s and 70’s. Better built than many of the era, they still have real oak interiors instead of the fake photo laminate paneling.

The floor has been redone with rustic oak laminate.
