Hesitant to sell this rare 1963 Oasis, named Flamingo. which was originally made in Bellflower, CA. where production occurred for only about a decade.
Flo has the thickest frame, she is the most solid trailer I have EVER owned. I have restored many vintage trailers but kept this gem for myself. A recent injury however, has enticed me to sell her. You won’t be disappointed! She is warm and cozy! She weighs around 1800lbs unloaded, which makes her easy to tow with just about any SUV or pickup.
Her roof has no leaks and her original wood is tight and solid! Her curves are fantastic! She offers a 6′ 5″ ceiling height! She has had new putty tape applied in all the right places (windows, seams, vents etc.).
She has eternabond on the roof seams…just in case, but hasn’t needed it. She is lovingly covered each Winter. She has brand new tires (including a spare) and newly re-packed bearings. She comes with a removable cargo basket on her rear hitch which I use for wood, and the stabilizing jacks. She boasts an original salmon range, ice box and vent hood which all work. She has the original propane heater which will cook you out if you’re cold! New upholstery in pristine condition. New curtains. Tons of storage space! Including a large closet that could be used for a porta potty if desired.
Interior lights work when plugged in plus there are a few lights that work on the battery which is included. Original brake lights and new replica “beehive” marker lights. Couch folds down into the main bed, table and seats convert to a bed, and above the couch could also be used for a bed (sturdy enough for an adult).
Two propane tanks included.
She does have a couple of dings, dents, and imperfections, but nothing to keep you from showing her off. Clean title in hand.
Good ground clearance for just about anywhere you’d want to pull her.
