1977 Serro Scotty Highlander For Sale

Up for sale is a 1977 Serro Scotty Highlander 15′ travel trailer.  This little beauty is in great condition, no leaks, stored indoors winter and summer the last 4 years.  Have put in a new axle with brakes, new tires and spare tire included.

 

Mattress is 10″ memory foam to fit in the back area 45″ x 73″.  Installed new plywood under the 10″ mattress for added support. Twin dinette bed.  Space over back bed for twin or cupboards.  Sleeps 5-6 with Gaucho (bunk bed) but no ladder.

 

Refrigerator works fantastic on electricity.  Never tried the propane option.  Stove works.  Removed furnace – we use an electric heater or “Little buddy” when camping in the cold weather.  Two propane tanks included.  Replaced the furnace vent with a new aluminum one that has a 6″ diameter flange to fit the exhaust hose of a portable air conditioner.

 

All windows work as they should. All windows have screens.  Back side window is an escape window.

 

Electric hook up works great and (4) outlets in the camper.  Some 12 volt lites in the camper that we never used.

 

We removed the water tank to provide more storage space under the back bed.  No toilet or shower included.  Closet is large enough to fit a port a potty.

 

Canopy is home made and has not been finished.  I have extra fabric to include with the camper. 

 

Floor and countertops are original and the floor is solid.  Original skins and interior paneling.  Roof has been sealed and no leaks.  There is evidence in the rear corner that there was a leak years ago but has been fixed and we have had no leaks in the 4 years we have owned it.

 

Camper pulls great with a 2″ ball.  Approximate weight is 1500#.  Outside body is in good condition with no major dents, small exterior dings and bumps as expected with a vintage travel trailer.  All outside, break, running and turn signal lights work.  Baby moon caps are original.

 

The trailer gets a lot of attention when camping or just traveling down the road.
