We call her The Gypsy Getaway. 1960 Shasta Compact. We are downsizing and want her to go to the best home possible. A lot of love and time have gone into her restoration. Hand painted murals surround the custom-made seating area and bistro table. All seating has storage space underneath. Seating cushions become a full-size bed which sets up in minutes. Both the kitchen and dining/living area have antique lighting fixtures. Many original features remain, like the completely original kitchen with working range. (We never used the oven). Interior electrical outlets both work. The original crank-up vent is in good working condition. The roof is sealed and there are no leaks. She has reclaimed hardwood floors. The backsplash and bench fronts feature embossed 100-year-old tin roof tiles. There is a spacious closet with hang rails and a shelf. The ice box is original. There is also a hand painted faux tin ceiling. The driver’s side living space cubby is a rebuilt replica. The side lights are brand new replicas and need re wired. the rear lights are aftermarket that came with the camper when we bought it. The original tag light works. We have a clear title. This is a solid little camper that tows like a dream. Ready to go glamping or just camping.
