1971 Kayot Forester is colorful and happy!
Ready to camp! Sleeps up to 5.
We have loved revamping this little camper and being able to take our kids on some adventures! Why didn’t someone tell me kids grow so fast! 🙂 Tighter quarters for our family now, so we decided it’s time to let her go to her next family to enjoy as we have.

All new foam cushions, new removable reversible covers (made by us), curtains, all new paint inside and out, and amazing hexagon flooring with flexible grout installed over a brand new plywood floor we installed beforehand. Made new wood countertops and a new dinette table that we sealed with 8 coats of polyurethane.
We pull this little lady with our van and got a lot of attention on the road 🙂

DETAILS:
-16 feet long.
-Approximately 1750 lbs.
-No leaks.
-Sleeps 2 on convertible dinette. Sleeps 2 on pull out lounge. There are rails to install a bunk for more storage or an extra person. We do not have the additional bunk. We have 3 smaller kids and they were able to sleep on one side while we slept on the other
-Towing lights do not work, but we have simply used magnetic lights with no problem.
-14” tv/dvd player/Roku mounted on wall with pull out adjustment (can see tv from outside for movie night under the stars!)
-Brand new sink and faucet, but we did not get a chance to test it as we just used bathhouse mostly. We do know there is a fresh water tank under dinette seat.
-Inside electrical works with electrical hookup. Purchased brand new electrical cord for exterior. New brighter lights for interior. Current electrical cord was altered to fit campground breaker box, so we bought a brand new cord, just haven’t installed it yet. The old cord works fine, but for aesthetic, we wanted a new one.
-Rock guard is in good condition and is intact.
-We removed the stove because we felt it could be a fire hazard and this means there are no propane tanks
-Bearings greased and repacked in 2021
-Tires good condition with 1 spare on back
-Roof sealed with  Heng’s Roof Coat, Elastomeric Roof Coating in 2021
-Includes 120v peach retro style refrigerator
-includes baby blue retro style microwave (not pictured but included)
-This trailer does not have a bathroom or shower, but we have a fairly new porta loo that fits perfectly in a small space next to the dinette. (We just move it outdoors into a loo tent while camping and take showers at a bath house or you can purchase your own outdoor camp shower).
(We believe there is a space where toilet used to be if you would want to reinstall one)
