This retro camper served us well until we retired it from Airbnb when the pandemic hit. Since then, we’ve put another $7k into the trailer to make it road worthy. Some of the work that was professionally done:
– New tires (July 2021)
– New tires (July 2021)
– Repacked bearings
– Electric brakes
– Power mover (for moving the trailer without a vehicle)
– fully sealed J-strip
– New 7-round connector
Other features:
– Pex pipes throughout
– Dometic toilet and 13gal black tank
– Modern stove/oven
– Two basin kitchen sink
– Blackout curtains
– Fan-tastic vent
– Newer mattress
– Stored primarily under covered parking
Some optional work to be done:
– Replace cabinet catches
– Screw in dinette table (it’s just a handful of screws)
– Grey water pipes need final connection
– Replace shower drain pipe
– Replace screens on screen door
– Add a fridge, heater, propane water heater
We’ve been using her on private land. Using bunk cots we sleep our entire family of four. She’s light and tows well with an old Toyota Tacoma.
