This is our very rare 1956 Cardinal “canned ham” trailer we call “Miss Montana”. This trailer came out of Divide, MT—hence the name. Cardinal trailers were built in El Monte, CA from 1951-70+ and often customized for the buyer.
This adorable little trailer is 15 ft overall, 12 ft. box, 6.5 ft wide, 6.5 ft tall and approx. 1600 lbs. The back of the trailer has a full size bed with ample storage and the possibility of a bunk above. The dinette folds down for additional sleeping—sleeps up to 4. The wiring has been completely updated inside and out. It does not have a bathroom but could easily fit a port-a-potty in the closet.
The tires have less than 300 miles on them and the axle and bearings have just been serviced. She is road ready for you to have many adventures in. I love sitting in her, daydreaming and admiring how adorable she is!
