1963 Shasta 16 – SC

~ ~ THIS TRAILER IS NOW SOLD ~ ~
This beauty was completely restored by a master carpenter from the ground up. This trailer has undergone a meticulous restoration, bringing it back to its original glory using all authentic parts including stove, sink and all lights.

The exterior, featuring a polished aluminum body, has been carefully restored, ensuring that the original paint colors and designs were replicated accurately. This attention to detail extends to the signature Shasta logos and badges, all of which have been sourced or restored to match the 1963 specifications.
The restoration process involved refurbishing the original birch wood paneling, which gives the interior a warm and inviting ambiance. The flooring, often made of classic checkerboard linoleum, has been replaced or restored to its original condition. The cabinetry and furniture, built to replicate the original layouts and designs, maintain the vintage aesthetic while ensuring modern functionality.

The trailer includes a small but functional kitchen, complete with the original appliances, such as the vintage refrigerator and stove, all restored to working order. The dinette area, with its classic bench seats and table, serves as both a dining and lounging space, often converting into an extra bed if needed.
The sleeping area typically features a comfortable bed with restored original upholstery, adding to the period-correct feel of the interior. The windows, with their unique jalousie design, have been repaired or replaced with exact replicas to ensure they match the 1963 design while providing ventilation and light. Every detail, from the hardware to the light fixtures, has been chosen to reflect the era’s style and functionality.

The end result of this restoration is a beautifully revived travel trailer that captures the essence of the early 1960s.
